The Orthodox Monastery of Saint Nektarios was established on the 15th of August 1998 in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne by the Ktitor (owner Abbot) Archmandrite Dr Nektarios (Nikolaos) Alexandratos. The Monastery, which was converted from Fr Nektarios’ private residence; today has 4 Monks and many private members. The Monastery has been moved now from its original place in Reservoir Victoria, to the Grampians.
