Learn About True Orthodoxy (L.A.T.O.)

Learn About True Orthodoxy (L.A.T.O. for short) is a lecture series presented by Archbishop Nektarios, that assist the participant to learn about the meanings of True Orthodoxy.

When we say “True Orthodoxy” we do not mean another “kind” of Orthodoxy, or another “system” of Orthodoxy, or another doctrine.

We refer to Orthodoxy that was passed to us through Apostolic Succession, genuine and pure. Not altered by the various Patriarchs, Archbishops, Metropolitans, Bishops or Hierarchs who throughout the years changed the meaning of “True Orthodoxy” purely to fit their purposes through a blend of historical, political and cultural traditions.

L.A.T.O. is a lecture series which is followed by participant discussions on the various topics presented. It is also, an Orthodox denomination course which seeks to introduce the original basics of the Orthodox faith through a series of talks and discussions. It is described by its participants as "an opportunity to explore the meaning of life". L.A.T.O. meets every first Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. at St Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church, 27-29 Arthur St, St Albans VIC 3021.
